Series GPS-BII Offer Superb Integration of Technology and Functions

Mitsubishi Electric hospital bed elevators achieve a perfect blend between performance, function and design, thus offering the optimum service environment for hospital staff, patients and visitors. Standard of the Series GPS-BII are a comfortable ride, smooth and sensitive door opening/closing, an elevator car design with soft, curved surfaces, and ergonomically designed Waveline operating panel and large, easy-to-read indicators. Our elevator systems garner confidence from building owners and superintendents alike with their enhanced performance, reliability, safety and energy-saving features.

VVVF Inverter Control

The Elevator door control system of the Series GPS-BII employs a variable-voltage, variable frequency (VVVF) inverter with a high-speed switching device and a door motor controlled by a mircroprocessor, displaying steady and high performance at all times. The drive control system is also equipped with a refined VVVF inverter, enhancing elevator system efficiency and enabling improved performance in comfortable ride and energy-savings.

Data Network

Mitsubishi Electric has confiqured a data network that connects each microprocessor (located at selection positions) with distributed modules through a serial transmission line developed using leading-edge technology. Each module is assigned appropriate intelligent features, resulting in a subtantial improvement in man-machine interfacing. A mutual check function ensures further reliability and efficiency in data transmission. This data network makes the entire elevator system more flexible, while improving comprehensive performance and functionality.

User-Friendly Features

The Series GPS-BII elevator systems offer a number of devices and features that are very convenient and comfortable for elevator passenger and building superintendents. An example of these features is described below. Door Load Detector (standard): The system detects abnormal load caused by an object during door operation. For example; if a pebble becomes lodged in the door track, rather than force itself open/closed, the door repeatedly opens and closes until the pebble is removed.

Waveline Operating Panel, the Optimum Design

Careful analysis of passenger movement in the elevator car led us to design an entirely new operating panel we call the Waveline. The raised feature of each button makes operation selection much easier with this attractive and distinctive panel. Car call buttons are big and provide a soft, natural feel. For fast and easy operation, the 'Door open' and 'Door close' buttons are located at the bottom of the Waveline, where the hand first seeks them. The car position indicator is recessed into the wall in a concave mounting for reading ease, and the numbers are created using a large digital LED display.

False Call Cancelling - Car Button Type (optional)

If the call button of a destination floor in the elevator car is inadvertently pressed, you can cancel the call by pressing the same button twice in succession. Thus, the elevator keeps operating without interruption, eliminating the irritation caused by unnecessary stops and increasing elevator operation efficiency.

Non-Service of Specified Floor - Car Button Type (optional)

A switch located inside the slide cover of the car operating panel can be activated to suspended elevator service to a specific floor. Setting of non-service floor(s) can be easily programmed using the car buttons.

Secret Call Service (Optional)

A three-digit numeric code can be programmed into the system to prevent entry to floors with administrative offices, etc. Access to such designated floors is only allowed after the corresponding code has been entered. (Maximum of eight floors possible.)
