Catechin is a bioflavonoid that is found in green tea, that has both antiviral and antioxidant properties. In addition to these benefits, Catechin also offers excellent deodorizing characteristics, which is why Mitsubishi Electric uses this compound in its air conditioner filters to not only improve air quality but also to prevent the spread of bateria^*1, viruses^*2, and fungi^*3 in the room. With Mitsubishi Electric innovative technologies, Catechin has been infused deeply into every molecule of the pre-filter. the filter can be easily removed and when washed regularly, deodorizing effectiveness should last for more than 10 years.

Double Air Cleaning Filter

The air-cleaning filter can trap dust and other small particles such as pollens, molds and mites which can cause allergic reactions. The filter removes paticles as small as 0.01 microns (a thousand times smaller than the diameter of a normal human hair).
