-> Design uniformity improves installation flexibility

From the smallest 3HP unit to the largest 6HP model, the new high-power ceiling cassettes offer a uniformity square 950 x 950mm width and depth design. Compared to the previous rectangular-shaped PL-4, 5 and 6 models, the surface area has been reduced by approximately one third. Thanks to the uniformity of the panel size, planning for unit positioning in any room is enhanced and the installation of different capacity models within the same floor space is made possible.

-> Automatic vane shutter - an industry fist!

When the air conditioner is not operating, the vane shutter closses automatically to conceal the air outlet and create an aesthetically appealing flat surface.

Note: The vane shutter will not activate when the vane is set at fixed positiion.

-> Wide-flow air outlet

The new high-power ceiling cassettes offer a wide-flow air outlet that enables effective air conditioning of atrium-tupe ceilings up to 4.2 meters in height. The demands of high-ceiling applications such as halls, showrooms or shopping malls can now be fully answered thanks to this powerful yet highly efficient airflow.

-> 72 different airflow patterns

The 72 different airflow patterns provide tha vest solution for varying room layouts and air-conditioning requirements. For extra versatility, There is a choice of two-, three- or four-way outlets. Separate motors for the individual vanes enable manual control that - together eith remote control vane settings - make possible highly customized and flexible air flow patterns.

Reduced airflow resistance and the redesigned fin shape of the heat exchanger combine to provide exceptionally silent operation.

-> Wider vanes for more comfortable and precise airflow

Wider vanes enable precise airflow control and direction through all horizontal and vertical settings. Cool air will reach floor level rapidly even in high-ceiling spaces. Also, annoying drafts are reduced to make the entire room much more comfortable.

-> Smudge-Free airflow and draft-free cooling

When the vane is set in the horizontal position to eliminate drafts during cooling, smudging will normally appear on the ceiling surface. However, thanks to a new airflow control mechanism and wider vanes, the new high-power ceiling cassettes reduce annoying drafts and smudging simultaneously.

-> Bacteria- and mold-resistant specifications

Mitsubishi Electric filters are bacteria resistant and the drain pans are designed to prevent the growth of mold for fresh and pleasant air conditioning at all times.

Installation & Maintenance Ease

-> Lighter and more compact

The new power cassette models are 30% lighter than conventional models and this makes suspension work possible without the need to install additional brackets.

-> Fresh air intake

Indoor air quality is significantly enhanced by the direct intake of fresh exterior air. An optional multi-function casement (PAC-SG03TM-E) is also available for the intake of a larger volume of air.

-> Improved drain water lift-up mechanism

Thanks to the adoption of a high-performance drain pump on the drain water lift-up mechanism, the drain water pipe has been lifted to 850mm (500mm for conventional model) from the ceiling surface.

-> Handy corner-pocket design simplifies maintenance

By using the handy corner pockets equipped on four corners of the grille, maintenance work such as drain pan cleaning and height adjustments can be accomplished without removing the grille.

-> Compatible with both round and requtangular ducts

For easy connection to branch ducts, knockout holes are designed to fil both roung and rectangular ducts. Matching the shape of the duct fringe provides more flexibility during installation.

-> Simplified drain pan cleaning

If the drain pump malfunctions, emergency operation is possible by connecting a hose to the emergency drain with an attached intake grille.
