Presence of Mitsubishi Electric Products in the Country for 50 Years through IEE

For over 50 years, International Elevator & Equipment, Inc. (IEE) has been steadfast in its pursuit of making a name in the elevator industry. IEE started its joint venture agreement in 1969 with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Mitsubishi Corporation, founder Jesus V. Del Rosario and other Filipino businessmen.

Recognized as a leader in sales, design, installation and maintenance of elevators and escalators in the Philippines, IEE also earned an award as a primary provider of first class mechanical products and high-end engineering solutions to different institutions such as hospitals, schools, five-star hotels and distinguished commercial and residential buildings in the Philippines.

In 1977, the company launched its air conditioning system business and changed its corporate name from International Elevator & Escalator, Inc. (IEE) to International Elevator & Equipment, Inc. (IEE).

To date, IEE’s products include Diesel Generators (in cooperation with MHI Philippines), Jet Towel Hand Dryers, Ventilators, Hydronics System-Chillers (in cooperation with Climaveneta) and Building Management Systems.

IEE continues its expansion nationwide, creating branch offices in Cebu and Davao, as well as satellite offices in Iloilo, Bicol, Zamboanga, Baguio and Cagayan De Oro, with plans to extend its services to farther reaches of the Philippines.

At present, IEE’s shareholders include Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Mitsubishi Corporation, and Mitsubishi Electric Building Solutions Corporation.
