IEE led by Mr. Katsunori Ushiku, President and Shinichi Kusunoki, Executive Vice President and Treasurer, together with the Human Resources Department, Administration Department, and Marketing Section organized the IEE Christmas Party 2022 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City on December 15, 2022.

The grand event was attended by more than 700 employees to celebrate the occasion with the theme of "IEE Celebrating Christmas through the Years," and the dress code was "Wear Your Era."

The programme started through community prayer led by Carina S. Aniversario, HR Business Partner, who thanked God for providing everyone the chance to rejoice together and for creating lasting memories. She prayed for greater happiness, life, and well-being in the days ahead.

Furthermore, Kusunoki stated in the welcoming message that Christmas has a unique value for everyone because it is focused on the family, despite the distance and differences. He also had faith and confidence that everyone would show the same tenacity and resolve in the days to come because they are all strong and persistent. Everyone cheered for the occasion when Kusunoki led the wine toast.

A special message from Mr. Joel M. Bulandus, IEE-EU President, presented everyone with a moving moment that served as a reminder that perseverance and hard work are rewarded. He also acknowledged the improved service award incentives and the 5-day workweek initiated by the new management.

There were amazing performances from the "SAYAWIT" competition which was participated by 8 Groups. Although the competition was tight, Group 7, which was made up of the departments of Corporate, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Administration, Warehouse, HR/Legal, and DG, excelled their rivals and won. Group 8, made up of E/E Sales & Modernization, E/E Engineering, AC/R Sales, AC/R Installation, and AC/R Service & QAA, came in second. Finally, Group 6-which consisted of E/E Service Makati A, Alabang, QSAS, and MIC-took third place.

Ushiku gave a wonderful Christmas message that reminded everyone of how unique the Christmas celebrations are here in the Philippines. He reminded all that they should always uphold the four working principles of Communication, Teamwork, Professionalism, and Speed. His words of wisdom will surely be remembered and cherished by everyone. Lastly, he wished us a Merry Christmas and offered us his best wishes for a prosperous new year.

The festivity ended with the community singing "Ang Pasko ay Sumapit."
