What is an access control system?

An access control system allows entrance into a physical property to a limited number of people. This also controls those who enter, denying entry to people not authorized to be in the premises. Furthermore, personal information can be registered from an external system, and logs can be exported to an external system easily using a LAN interface.

Destination Oriented Allocation System(DOAS)Integrates operation of Mitsubishi Electric Elevators

Dispersing passengers by destination prevents congestion in elevator cars and minimizes waiting and travel time.

To improve security, authentication is conducted at a security gate and an elevator car appropriate for the destination floor previously set for the person is automatically assigned. The number/name of the assigned car is indicated on the LCD panel.

Benefits

Simple management — One of the biggest draws to an access control system is the easy management of entrance security, employee credentials, and tracking. This allows the building management to track all the activity from one remote location.

No more hassle of traditional keys — An access control system can replace the need for keys, eliminating the hassle of keys getting lost or copied without permission.

Streamlined entrance and exit — This can save everyone time in getting in and out of the building. Access controls can also make tracking simplified without the need for additional manual labor.

Improve overall security — Access control systems can give you the necessary information about the people coming and going to the building premises, as well as select important areas that need extra security measures.
