MELSAFETY-PA offers a comprehensive access control system that caters to the unique security needs of the elevators. The system includes a proximity card reader that allows authorized individuals to gain access to restricted areas via elevators.

Moving up to the designated floor, the common area, MELSAFETY-PA, provides elevator security. Elevator buttons can only be operated after passing a card over a card reader inside the elevator car.

Recently, a function expansion of MELSAFETY-PA has been introduced by Mitsubishi Electric. The connection with third party made authentication device is now applicable.

Main System Functions

The access control system offers a range of system functions that further enhance its security capabilities and provide convenience for users.

1. Log Management

MELSAFETY-PA enables the storage and management of access logs and alarm logs. The system can store up to 300,000 access logs and 100,000 alarm logs, which can be easily accessed and reviewed through the management web browser.

2. Schedule Control

With the schedule control feature, clients can automate the locking and unlocking of access at the elevator hall based on a predefined schedule. For example, clients can set the schedule of each elevator door to be operational during office hours and disable them outside of those hours, ensuring optimal security and convenience.

3. Elevator Access Control

The main system integrates with elevator systems, allowing elevator service only after successful authentication at the terminal installed inside the elevator car. This ensures that only authorized individuals can access different floors via the elevator.

4. User Management

The system provides a comprehensive overview of the users, including the number of people and their identities. This information is easily accessible through the management web browser, facilitating efficient occupant management.
